One of the most laid-back, comfortable coffee shops that I have been to has to be The Coffee House on Cherry Street in Tulsa. When I first went there with my boyfriend and his brother, my curiosity was immediately sparked before we even entered the building.
I couldn’t help but notice how the outside of the coffee house was set up. Outside the front door, there is an area to sit, relax, enjoy your coffee, and socialize or do your work. When the sun goes down, there are a string of lights, which makes the place look even more fabulous.
From the outside (or also from the inside), you can get to the patio. The patio has many different chairs and tables set up, which also make it perfect for enjoying your beverage, socializing, or doing your work.
Inside, the coffee shop is intimate and roomy. There are different tables, chairs, and sofas to choose from to fit your desires. The place is colorful and I’ve frequently seen different artwork there. Like many coffee shops, The Coffee House on Cherry Street hosts different bands/singers frequently.
There is a bakery case there as well. They don’t only sell pastries; which, by the way, I absolutely love their brownies! They also have a breakfast menu, which I have never seen at a coffee shop before.
Being a coffee-holic, it’s quite important for my coffee to be tasty. Good coffee is one thing that I can pretty much guarantee you’ll have if you go to The Coffee House on Cherry Street. I have always enjoyed the coffee.
My only complaint (if you want to call it that) so far about that coffee shop, is that when they ask whether I want my coffee “for here or to go”, they don’t seem to listen. I always say that I want it “for here”, meaning that it should come in a glass cup. When I get my coffee; however, it comes in a to-go cup…and that’s happened 90% of the time that I’ve gone there. Like I said, it’s not really a complaint because it doesn’t really matter to me whether my coffee comes in a glass cup or to-go cup.
The Coffee House on Cherry Street in Tulsa is one of my favorite coffee shops. It has a very trendy, hip vibe. The atmosphere is very cozy, comfortable, and warming. It’s a great place to go if you’re wanting to stay for a little and take a breather from life’s common stressors.
