I have always been a fan of Joe Momma’s. Maybe it’s because of the pizza. Maybe it’s because of the Orpheum (half-baked cookie dessert with ice cream, whipped cream, and a cherry on top). It could be the laid-back, artsy atmosphere. I think it’s all of the above! For me, Joe Momma’s holds a special place in my heart. You see, my boyfriend and I recently moved to Oklahoma and Joe Momma’s is where we went on our first date (since moving here, that is).
Anyone can look into the restaurant from outside and see the pizza makers preparing the food. Watching them toss the dough in the air has always been a plus when eating at Joe Momma’s.
The whole place has a very hip, cool vibe. You can eat inside or outside. They always have music playing over the loud speakers. In fact, a lot of the time, you can also hear the music that the employees listen to in the kitchen. It’s refreshing to see employees having fun at their job. They have multiple t.v.s on, which always show sports games. They have a stage where they frequently have bands or other events going on…and if there isn’t anything going on, there is a HUGE big screen that they frequently pull down for the sports fanatics.

The whole set up at Joe Momma’s is very comfortable. I have frequently seen artwork for sale on their wall. They have several arcade games by the entrance. And as a ‘finishing touch’, they have very colorful lights strung throughout the restaurant to add a certain intriguing ‘flare’.
I definitely recommend eating at Joe Momma’s. They have great food, an awesome atmosphere, and there’s almost always something going on.
